"Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls;
                  the most massive characters are seared with scars."
- Kahlil Gibran

Since Emma no longer requires the 24 hour 'round the clock intense care and treatment that she has in years past, I decided that it was time to reach out other pups in need and continue the work I have done for the better part of 20 years... join us in helping to offer a new life and love to some very deserving fur-angels!

While I will consider every request carefully, I do specialize in the care and hand raising of orphan newborns as well as special needs and senior small breeds.

♥ THIS, is what we do with your dollars ♥ ♥ ♥ It's all about these faces .......... these are the faces of the pups that we've taken in, provided for and LOVED - just over the past few months.... some of them have found their place in the world with families of their own - - some are still here... ALL have been blessings and I will forever treasure having been a tiny part of their world!! ♥ ♥

The day to day of rescue work isn't glamorous - it can be dirty, stinky, heart wrenching, back breaking work... but the rewards are IMMEASURABLE... ♥ ♥

The financial need doesn't stop when one of these little ones goes home with a new family... there is a never ending sea of babies who need our support.  And so, I have to continue the plea for yours....

Please use the link below to make a donation directly towards the care and medical treatment of our rescues.

♥ Or feel free to send a direct donation via Paypal to friendsofemmacpc@aol.com

You are much appreciated and always loved here in this little corner of our world!! ♥

Thank you for your support!

Bonnie Needs Your Help

**Update**

Sadly, the team at Texas A&M was unable to put little Bonnie's broken body back together... our precious girl slipped peacefully over the Rainbow Bridge on 4.4.13.  Thanks and love to the hundreds of hearts who were led to aid in the plight of this little girl... your efforts were not in vain ~ Bonnie brought tenderness and compassion in the short time she was with us and left an abundance of love behind... her spirit lives on with inspiration to continue the fight for others...

Cecilia

**UPDATE** Cecilia will remain a permanent resident here with us!!

Stella & Claire

We have two little Chihuahua ladies who are two years old... they are likely "puppy mill rejects" and culled from the breeder's program. These girls are terrified of EVERYTHING and simply do not know a thing about socialization, play, life INDOORS - or LOVE. They appear to be in fairly good health, but will require full veterinary evaluations and all of the basics (full blood panel work-ups, vaccinations, heartworm testing, dental work, spay, etc.) - along with lots of TLC in order to prepare them for a new family of their own. I have a positive outlook on their future and foresee no serious long term problems.             **UPDATE** 12/2/12 ~ IN PERMANENT FOSTER**

**Please note - that we are not a 501c(3) rescue organization and your donations to our plight are not tax deductible.  We provide for these little ones in the same way that we have always cared for Emma - dependent upon the private donations of generous friends, family, businesses, individuals - and out of our own pockets.  Our efforts and funds must be focused on Emma, first and foremost - along side each "love & care project" that we take on.  We are limited on both space and funding - as well as physical ability - so we are able to take in and provide for only a limited number of pets at any given time - determined on a "case by case" basis.**
